Revit 2016: Add filter (line/pattern) for fabrication part

I am not able to add filters( Pattern) for fabrication part in 3d views in revit 2016.
I want show my ducts/pipes in different colors in 3d view.
is there any solution for that?

Hi Swapnil,

I can only make my filters change the "border" line colour of my ducts and pipes, but no luck for a fill pattern. This seems to be prevalent in 2D and 3D views

Revit 2016 "Fabrication Parts" are not really Revit elements. There are lots of ways they don't behave in the same way that you would expect from typical Revit system or component families.

There is an article in the June issue of AugiWorld on page 33 that addresses the limitations.
