    Question redefine F10 key mapping

    Hi all,

I was wanting to customize my F10 key to zoom window, but it is not an option in the accelerator key dialogue box.

Is there a work around for this (2005)

    Thanks

    Steve.

    Hi

Check out the following Technical Documents on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

ID: TS20858 - Assign an AutoLISP® routine to a shortcut key

ID: TS22496 - Create accelerator keys (keyboard shortcuts) for commands

    The following threads should help....

    Thanks Mike,

I do now remember the menu file accelerator keys section. will give it a go.

    Q. for Desk, why leave F10 and others? out of the customization dialog edit routine?

    Steve

F10 is a special windows key (to activate the menu bar in the active program)

    Hi

In addition take a look at the following within the AutoCAD Online Help File [F1] -

Contents tab -> Command Reference -> Commands -> C Commands -> Customize -> Customize Dialog Box -> Keyboard Tab (Customize Dialog Box)

    Have a good one, Mike
