Electrical Outlets, Data Outlets - Report Elevations?

Curious if its possible to either report the elevation of a family like a electrical outlet, data device, etc... To a schedule and/or apply it to a filter. The elevation parameters seem to be built into the family. Not sure how to extract this information form the family.

So far the only solution we use is to create an elevation shared parameter and use the value on this parameter to adjust its height.
