Default CV416-2: AutoCAD® Civil 3D® and Infrastructure Modeling Solutions: Practically

    Session: CV416-2

Title: AutoCAD® Civil 3D® and Infrastructure Modeling Solutions: Practically

Instructors: Neil Brooker with Jack Strongitharm

Course Description: This class explores the integration and collaboration capabilities of Autodesk civil design and infrastructure modeling solutions. It shows practical and realistic ways to design, analyze, operate, and maintain a building site development project using AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D, Autodesk® Topobase™, Autodesk MapGuide®, Autodesk LandXplorer®, and water hydraulic analysis tools. The class will outline how to collect and integrate data, analyze flood risk, and present the results for design; create the ground model and civil engineering design; calculate the volumes of materials based on the initial design; import existing utility information and classify and migrate these assets to a geospatial database for operation and maintenance; use intelligent infrastructure modeling design tools to create new assets and analyze design issues; use 2D and 3D Web-publishing tools for project management and public consultation.
