VLX Mystery

I'm mystified by double prompts caused by my VLX file, which I placed in the Startup Suite, when AutoCAD starts. You know, the usual deal where you princ a line to the screen to show that the file is loaded. The LSP version does NOT double prompt, and yes, I have tried recompiling. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
