it looks like that revit has no tthe founction of the replacement Of group or family .it is regretable more or less.

But in your project browser your families and groups are listed. Scroll all the way down to the bottom, right click on a paticular group or family and amoung other interesting features (including save and delete) a 'select all instances' option will appear, you can select all instances of that paticular group and then can change it universally in your properties option bar or submenu as you perfer. I think that is what you are asking.

right clic on the element then choose select all instances and change the type.

Tu peus faire un clic droit sur l'objet puis choisir toutes les occurences et changer le type.
