Hello,
I would like to analyse the conduction in the soil on a period which could be daily, monthly or on a year. It would be a clay soil. The inter-seasonal storage in the soil would be at 2 meters underground and It will be with tunnels long of 4-5 meters and large of 1 meter filled with river pebbles on a height of 0,60 meters. Some solar captors on the roof of the greenhouse will send to the entry of the tunnel some hot air (50°Celsius) which will heat the pebbles during june-july-august at 35°Celsius. Then the heat by conduction in the soil will take two months to go up at the soil and it will heat the greehouse at 20-25°C during november-december-january.
I would like to do a dynamic thermal simulation and particulary the conduction in the soil during the two months and see the temperature and its evolution during months at differents spots in the soil (-2 meters, -1 meters, 0 meter, etc...). I thought at Autodesk CFD?
And for create the construction, the objects,... I thought about Revit.
I have seen we can create the materials we want in Revit with its thermals and physics properties.
I know how to create a buildind with levels, walls, roof, doors, windows, etc... but how to create my tunnel in the soil? how to define the thermal properties (clay soil) of the soil? will it be used in Autodesk CFD for the conduction if we defined a space in the soil? If Revit can't do that perhaps we could cheat and create a material of 10000m3 for sample with the thermal properties of the clay and put it in the soil... ?
Perhaps there are some other more appropriate softwares to do that?
I hope you could just give me the great lines on how to do (I don't need details). Je parles français aussi.
I can post after the results of the thermal simulation of all the system if you are interested?
Thanks you
A last question, why on your forum you separate Revit architecture, Revit Structure and Revit MEP, it's a unique software now no?
Thanks
