    Default Paint Symbol

    I am trying to make the attached Paint Symbol Family have parametric length attached to the arrows. so that when placed I can put in the total length of the wall (corner to corner) and the point of the arrow point to the corners.

    Any ideas...

    I’d use line based detail item with some labels and gen. ann. nested families. When placing, click on the beginning and the end of the wall. Flip arrow or space bar will flip the family as needed. Take a look at the enclosed file. Hopefully you will find it useful.
