DWG contain aerial photo, it crashed while zoon in and out.

I have a DWG contain two aerial photo (5MB and 58MB) when I zoon or pan around AutoCAD close out w/o any option to save dwg or tell me any error message. Does anyone run into this kind of problem before? What is the solution stop AutoCAD from crashing?

I am using AutoCAD 2005 with Raster Design package.
