    Default Selecting objects

I have just started using 2016 LT (was using 2013 LT), and am puzzled by the appearance of selected objects. Instead of the longstanding dotted line appearance, selected objects are highlighted. However, the highlighting is not very bold, and I'm sometimes not sure of what has actually been selected. Why has this changed, and is there a setting to change it back to the old style of dotted line selection?

In full acad it's under Options>Selection>Preview>Visual Effect Settings>Line highlighting.

I'm not sure when it was removed, but it is not available in 2015 either.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

Set SELECTIONEFFECT to 0 or turn off hardware acceleration.

Hi that still only gives the highlight thicken, not the dash option, before selecting, the dash option is help for match properties on hatches or selecting hatches when you don't want anything else Id'ing line is bunch of lines. The highlight thicken just blurs everything and overpowers the view
