Default Changing the Style of a Drawing View

When a view is placed on an Inventor drawing sheet, its line weights, fonts, dimensions, and etc. follow the current active standard style. However, after the view is placed, there appears to be no way to change it to follow a different style. You can select a different active style, but this only affects new views placed thereafter. Sometimes drawing views are generated from a legacy copy design, and the inherited style is unsuitable. The only practical way I know to change the style of a view is to delete the view and place it again with the correct style active. Usually, this effectively means a total "re-draw," as any dimensions, derived views, or drafting edits are lost. Does anyone know how to make an existing view obey a different standard style? Thanks.

What was your answer? Did you forget to include a link or a file?

Oh, the link was found hiding in the word "this." Silly me. I'll take a look and let you know. Thanks.

No, unfortunately, this doesn't help. The question concerns the appearance of a drawing (.idw), not parts and assemblies (.ipt, .iam). Drawing features are controlled by drawing styles, not application options. Thanks for trying.

    Mark,

I looked and there doesn't seem to be a way to do this via the API either. Someone correct me if I am wrong because this would be nice to know.
