Automatic scaling of cogo point label offsets of moved labels

Summary: If Civil 3D could scale the offsets of the label position according to the annotation scale, there would be no need (or much less need) to re-arrange the label positions after the annotation scale was changed.

Description: The way the program behaves now (release 2016), is that it maintains the absolute offset of a moved label in model space, even after the annotation scale is changed. If the offsets were themselves scaled somehow by the ratio between the old and the new annotation scale factor, then it would appear to have stayed in the same position relative to the cogo-point marker. And you wouldn't have to re-arrange them once again.

The thing to remember is, that Civil3D does NOT use 'annotative scaling'. The approach the C3D folk took pre-dates the implementation of 'annotative' features in AutoCAD, and they've never ever bothered to implement the AutoCAD annotative capability in Civil3d, and held onto their own partially functional method to resize labels/points based on scaling.

No one ever said the Civil3D people spent much time talking to the AutoCAD people.....

It is sad that a company has grown so large that they cannot keep functionality of one software package consistent with another software package. AutoCAD is within Civil 3D and not being able to do the things that are common place with the vanilla package (so to speak) with the advanced package is not a good business practice.
