Default Lumber Cuts in wall sweep

    Hey all,
I've added a wall sweep for my top plate, but want to know if there's a way to add the lumber "cut lines". Aside from creating four triangular sweeps, which would be a royal pita, I'm hoping someone has done something like this before?

Add a detail component to the profile family.

When changing the wall's orientation, the detail component in the sweep does not update. Any way to fix that?

it appears that the wall location line is currently set to either "face of exterior" of "face of interior" so when you changed the orientation it mirror on that face so the wall itself is in a different position. If you want the detail component to stay where it should be then you will need to have the wall location line be set to "core centerline" so it mirrors on the centerline of the stud space.

Hi and thank you for your reply.
I have tried laying out the walls with the location at core centerline, and still the same issue.
Not sure what the problem is.
    Thank you again!

I've run into the same issue. If you flip the section cut, you need to have another detail components that's reversed or change the direction of your seciton.

Hi Dave: Good to know. I hope we can get help from someone here?
I have tried to lock the Detail Component in the profile family, but no luck.
    Great quote, by the way.
