Default Surface Pro 4 - Revit vs resolution scaling.

I have recently upgraded from a Surface Pro (v1) to a Surface Pro 4. I bought the M chip model with 4 GB as I do not really intend to do any real work in the device an my previous older surface's spec was fine.
I notice the Revit will flicker and will almost freeze when launched unless I completely disable the scaling. At that point everything is too small to look at.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a Revit thing ? Autocad seems to not mind being scaled, neither do any other programs.
I was thinking of returning the device and getting the i5 with 8 GB, but I don't need all that power and I do not think that is the root of my problems.

    Thanks for any input.

Hi, on my Surface Pro 4 (i5, 8GB, 256GB) Revit won't run either. The lower option bar keeps flickering, also when I set scaling to 100%. I have no clue what could be the solution, I guess it's a driver issue?!? Makes my investment pretty useless since Revit was the main reason to choose a 8GB i5 version.

wow what a shame. I hope either MS or autodesk can provide a solution via a service pack or something.

I was having the same problem. If you go to View / User Interface and un-tick the Status Bar, Revit 2016 seems to work fine on my Surface Pro 4 i7, even with very large projects. You don't have a status bar, but this seems a small price to pay.

i've just installed Revit 2013 on my Surface Pro 4 (i7) scaled display down to 175% and it seems to be working ok, no flickering. Panning and orbiting of 3d views is smooth. Generally happy with it. Would be nice to be able to touch-pan/zoom though.
