cant see drawing emailed to me

hi I received drawing via email and cant see drawing in model and paper space. in paper space I can see dimensions and texts only. in paper I don't see title block either.
any help?

Probably missing external references (xrefs), which would be the model geometry and title block (etc)...
Happens all the time when someone sends a drawing and doesn't know what they're doing.

If you go into the xref dialog, does is show "missing" references?

Start with the basics, since you don't know what they did with the file.

Make sure the layers are thawed and on.
Select everything using the CTRL+A and check for quantities selected in the Properties Dialog Palette.
you can use the pull down at the top to see the categories for all selected objects, which will help you sort out all that is in that file.
Check for missing reference files in the XREF manager palette.
Another thing is with this file closed, run a RECOVERY on the file to see if there is a glitch preventing the items from being displayed
Does the file size suggest that there is more to the file?
