Default free 2d cad program for Windows Vista

I have an older computer at home with Windows Vista on it. I would like to find a free 2d, simple drafting program that will run on it. AutoCAD LT doesn't install. I can't find any others that will install either.

Does anyone know of a simple, 2d cad program that will install on Windows Vista. I just want to draw very simple floor plans and elevations. Line work only.

    Thanks!

You might consider something like DraftSight; a Google search will reveal a handful of others as well.

    Cheers

Also, might be worth your while to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, if this Microsoft procedure still works:
