ABBREVIATE LOCATION PATH NAME

Long Path Name in SSM.jpgHi All,
I would like to change the path name on the Model tab of SSM. As it is, the path is too long to view at a glance - I have to hover over the line to see the end, which is the actual text I want to view. I thought I could rename, like a short-cut, but that doesn't appear on my right click (RC). Is there a way to do this, and if so, what is it? Or, any work-around for using SSM?
