Default Having a group of text or objects associated with each other when selected or serched

I have an electrical master drawing, I want to be able to select a panel off the floor plan and have all the associated circuits attached to this panel highlight in my plan to see where they are located. maybe even have the outlets and cable runs highlight as well. I want to be able to print out the highlighted selection as well. Can anyone tell me what would be the best way to make this happen?
See attached PDF for more info.
    Thanks

There is nothing built into vanilla AutoCAD to accomplish this task. You would need some form of automation.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.
