Default Rotate Multiple Objects around Separate Base Points

Creating a block wherein I have a four objects:

    ^ ^ ^ ^

I would like to have a rotation grip on one of them, and when one is rotated they all rotate around their respective base points:

    < < < <

Seems like it should be easy, but I've searched "rotation, basepoint, multiple" to no avail. Maybe there is a way to write expressions for their parameter values so they equal the rotated one? I only need one grip.

    Ideas? Thanks!

If these are blocks why don't you select the appropriate blocks then specify the rotation in the properties window they will all have the same rotation about their own insertion pt

Individually they aren't blocks, they are objects within a block.

Alright, after extensive searching, I think I found out how to do it. I will post here so that in case someone else is looking for the same thing they can find the answer too.

Basically, if you want other objects to rotate using the same parameter and grip, but with different base points, you need to create another rotation action on the same parameter with your separate object(s). Then under that action's properties, you can override the "basetype" and set it to "independent". This will make the rotation basepoint independent from the parameter basepoint.

    Cheers!
