Create Points from Surface along an Alignment

Can I create LDT Points, interpolated from a surface, at a specific interval, along a named alignment?

The short answer is yes. Been a long time don't remember the exact steps. I believe look in the create points menu there should be an option to create points from surface along polyline. If not check Autodesk site for help
