I cannot for the life of me get his to work. I've got a sheet with 3 viewports. One of these viewports should be hidden and plot with our plot style. The other two viewports should be hidden and show obscured lines. All should print black.
I've got the hidden viewport shadeplot settings to "legacy hidden", which prints correctly. But when I use this setting, the geometry in the other viewports don't plot. The other viewports are set to If I set the "hidden" viewport to anything but legacy, my other viewports print fine. If I set all to Legacy Hidden, they all print, but without hidden lines. I have a custom VS based off "Hidden" that shows occluded edges.
To simplify it, lets look at the shadeplot settings and assume VP1 is the viewport I want hidden and VP2 is the one I want hidden with linetypes:
-------------------------------------------
VP1: Legacy Hidden
VP2: Legacy Hidden
=
VP1: Correct
VP2: No hidden lines showing
-------------------------------------------
VP1: Legacy Hidden
VP2: Custom VS (hidden w/ lines)
=
VP1: Correct
VP2: Geometry missing
-------------------------------------------
VP1: Hidden
VP2: Custom VS (hidden w/ lines)
=
VP1: Plots in color
VP2: Correct
-------------------------------------------
VP1: 3D Hidden
VP2: Custom VS (hidden w/ lines)
=
VP1: Plots in color
VP2: Correct
-------------------------------------------
VP1: Legacy Hidden
VP2: As Displayed (VP has Custom VS active)
=
VP1: Correct
VP2: Geometry missing
-------------------------------------------
Is there a way to get Autocad to plot multiple viewports with mixed visual satyles AND with plot styles? It seems simple.
EDIT: I should clarify this applies 3D solids, not 2D geometry, sorry
