No, I still have the same problem with the jagged (bold). Checked on three different cad stations. I am trying to figure out if it is some variable or font setting that I have been missing. The text seems to print correctly on large format plotters and laserjets but not on inkjet printers.
Thanks again, Sam

Further guessing from myself...
ID: TS18055 - PLOT and RENDER commands produce low resolution text when using TrueType fonts
ID: TS72699 - Text using TrueType® fonts appear jagged or low quality

Listen this is a bit of a long shot, 'cos we've been having problems with drawings for outside consultants as well, but concerning linetype scale and hatch pattern density. Try this out with the file which you’ve received from the outside office,Originally Posted by sam.lucido
1. Create a copy of one of your office drawing files in which the text appears okay, let's call it Example2.dwg
2. Now we’re going to do a cut ‘n paste; so make sure everything is turn on, not on a locked layer etc… then if LT allows (copy with base point) everything in the outside consultants drawing. (You can find it with right click on the mouse, I believe it’s a MS-Windows function so it should be there; if you don’t get back to me, we’ll find a way round that too.)
3. These elements you paste into the drawing Example2, where the mtext definition is correct. They will inherit the properties of your normal plan into which it is pasted.
Let me know if it works, 'cos it's a subjet of particular interest

No, it looks the same as the one posted by "sam.lucido" here.Originally Posted by Mike.Perry

However in Brava's DWG Viewer, both yours *and* the original look GOOD.

Hmmm, very strange... both...
00Font Problem1.dwg

Look good in AutoCAD 2002, 2004 & 2005 here at my end ie
Look exactly the same as the screen capture you have posted above for Brava's DWG Viewer.
