    Default Dwg to Jpeg?

I work for a small architectural firm in Pittsburgh, PA and the lead architect and I have been trying to come up with a fast way to get a .jpg or any type of image file from a paperspace .dwg. Now either we are just overlooking something or this isnt an option within AutoCad's pulldown menu's. If anyone could help out I would appreciate it greatly.
    Thanks

MS Paint won't save to jpeg format unfortunately. Check out this thread for some more options: Click Here

yah I've done the print screen deal and saved into MS Paint. I was just thinking there could be a faster way.

If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional, you can print the ACAD layouts as PDF's then open them up with Acrobat and "save as" to a JPEG.

Forget what I said earlier. Try using the JPGOUT, PNGOUT, BMPOUT or TIFOUT commands when on a layout tab.

Yep, and Ive received way too many "Screen Dumps" from my sales department, thinking that I can do some Cad work. Its funny when they do not believe that it is not sufficient enough..........looks like chicken, but doesn't taste like chicken, lol.

Red face Re: Dwg to Jpeg?

I have used the JPGOUT command, just one thing that you will learn is the background of AutoCAD when you create the Jpeg will be the background color of your Jpeg. In other words, if you work in AutoCAD with a black background, the Jpeg will have a black background. You will have to go into the Options to change your colors. White background will not print.
