Hi,
I need a lisp routine that creates Contour Lines from Triangulated 3D Faces & creates two different layers for Contour Interval & Index Interval.
Please check the picture below.
Thanks

Its been a long time, and no one replied to this post If anyone has the lisp, kindly let me know.
Thanks
Goto www.Cadtutor.net and search for triangulation there is some programs available.
i searched and didn't find any useful lisp, if anyone has this lisp, kindly let me know.
Thanks
What you are looking for is a very big "ask" (highly complex task), so much so that people get paid to develop such things. If you are struggling to develop this from scratch break it down into smaller and smaller tasks, then ask for help with the smaller parts you are having trouble with. If you are expecting something whole and complete that you can just plug in to your existing setup you'll be better off finding and hiring a developer to do this.
I already have something, but I wanted to post it on www.theswamp.org... Yet it seems that this site is in some kind of maintenance and until it's fixed I won't post it here... BTW. When and if it gets fixed you'll had to have its membership to download attachments... Or like dgorsman said you can hire assistance of someone that's paid to do the job for you... Even then I am not fully aware what kind of result are you expecting... All I can say is if you develop straight - no smoothing contouring you may achieve results for all situations even if contouring is passing through vertex of triangulation... So good luck, M.R.
I can confirm that it is possible - I've already done the legwork on it. Lets just say, I can understand why the Greek mathematicians were gaga over triangles
Thanks for the confirmation about theswamp.org being down. Was wondering if it was just me...
We've always had software for that, but I've seen a number of them posted through the years. Quick Google search brought over 15 thousand results: https://www.google.com/search?q=auto...+Lines&ie=&oe=
I promised I'll post it at theswamp.org when it's fixed...
So here is link with my versions...
