    Default Stretching Flipped Dynamic Block

    Hi All
I have been working on a parametric door block. I have most of the components working except that when I flip the block the 45 and 90 swings wont stretch properly. I have looked and looked but I cannot tell what to modify to get it to work properly. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You need to add the stretch actions (the ones with angle offsets) to the selection set of the flip action. To be able to select the actions you need to have sys variable BACTIONBARMODE = 0.

    Hi libbybapa
Your suggestion did the trick. It worked beautifully. Thank you very much.

    Hi All
I was able to modify all of my blocks to work correctly with the help of libbybapa. I now have one last block that is not working correctly. Ideally, I would like to be able to stretch the larger door and have the small door scale accordingly. However, I also would like to be able to scale the overall door opening and only have the smaller door grown and shrink. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I am attaching the door block in question. Thanks.

    Hi libbybapa
It is close. Ideally, I would like to be able to adjust the width of the large door and have it adjust the small door without making the overall door opening width smaller or larger. This door is commonly used in hospital setting where the large door has to be 36" wide but they can open them both to get a stretcher through. In some instances this door is used in buildings to provide the ability to have a larger opening if needed. Thanks.

Ah, so when you said you'd like to be able to 'stretch the larger door and have the smaller door scale accordingly' you really meant to 'have the smaller door scale inversely in order to maintain the opening width'. Ok. See attached.

    Hi Libbybapa
The door seems to be working correctly now.The last issue that I am encountering is that I added another flip action to account for the wall thickness and now when I flip it the small door leaf is screwed up. I did what you suggested previously with setting the BACTIONBARMODE to 0 and adding the stretch to the the flip action but I am still missing something. I am attaching the latest block. Thanks.

    Hi All
I could still use some help with the flip feature. See block in statement below. Thanks.

The extra flip really complicates things a lot. As far as placing the flip midway in the wall, that again adds another degree of complexity and seems like an added complication that doesn't add functionality. You can more simply have the flip aligned with the base point and if you want to flip it the other direction, move the block to the other side of the wall via the basepoint grip. That's actually less complicated for the user than stretching the linear grip to place the flip at the midpoint of the wall. Anyway, here's a functional version.
