Default Accessing the current template view

Is there a quick way to open up the current view 'view template' to override without going through the properties?
When I 'VG', I get the grayed out version of the VG Overrides for 'view template'
the view is using a view template.

In the properties pallet you can just pick on the template and it should bring up that dialog box with that views "Current" template active and ready for changes.

I changed to using the 'apply template to view' instead of having the template permanently assigned whenever possible.
