Default Document and WorkFlow Management Software

    Hello Cad MGr's

I am still fishing for some suggestions regarding a good database driven document management solution with an exposed interface for customization.

What I need is something that allows the user to include several fields for every file submitted to the system. Like date submitted, submittee, type of document, plus about 10 other fields.

    Any suggestions?

I used AutoManager Workflow for the last 10 years or so, but recently switched to Synergis Adept. It is more cost effective and programmable through vb. You can have whatever fields you need. It is open db, comes with MySql for a load of up to 6-10 users, but you can use Oracle or MS for larger operations. It does not encrypt file names and has a nice structure for maintaining revisions.
