Tables in MTEXT
Summary: It would be nice to see the ability to have tables within MTEXT
Description: It would be nice to see the ability to have tables within MTEXT so that we can adjust text into columns and have the tables follow.
Currently we have to type our MTEXT, leave a gap where the table would be, and then continue our MTEXT below that.

Hey you stole my idea!
I second this motion!
This would save quite a bit of time if it were available.

Re: Tables in MTEXT
Tom,
I know column text exists. I want MTEXT with the ability to add a table to it in the middle of the text so that when I edit the size of my column text then the table follows it.
Currently we have to begin MTEXT, end the MTEXT when we want a table, add the table (separate from the MTEXT), and then continue another MTEXT below the table. If the MTEXT moves in anyway we must then manually move the table.

Re: Tables in MTEXT
Sorry I misunderstood.
I get Word documents with tables in them my boss wants placed in drawing and it's a struggle at best compared to inserting one from Excel as an AutoCAD object (Table).
In Microsoft Word tables and mtext are separate objects as well. It would be nice if mtext could be fit around other selected objects similar to adding a hatch boundary though.

Yes, I totally agree. Let's see if Autodesk can make this happen in the future.

Re: Tables in MTEXT
Given the the current state of MText, Tables, and MLeaders, one _has_ to wonder if anyone doing coding at Autodesk has ever put out a set of construction drawings. And don't ever get me started on the pathetic state of Civil 3D labeling.... OOTB that would not even get up to an F in a high school drafting class,
