    Default My First Plug-in Training

I've been programming in AutoLISP for a long while now and finally got the bug to look at doing some .NET programming for AutoCAD 2016. I've been following the links and instructions for 'My First Plug-in Training' from here.

From the links on the page so far I've:

    • Downloaded and successfully installed VS Community 2015.
    • Downloaded and successfully extracted the contents of the ObjectARX SDK.
    • Downloaded and tried to install the AutoCAD 2015-2016 .NET wizards. Unfortunately, they appear to be targeted to VS 2012 and won't install.

    I guess my questions are:

    • Do I need to undo everything I've done and install VS 2012 (link please) in order to get this to work properly?
    • Is there a way to get the wizards to work in VS Community 2015?
    • Will I have to run multiple development environments in order to step up to AutoCAD 2017 or go back to previous versions?

    Thanks.

    Jim
