Default Show degree character in DMS

Is there a way to change the d in the DMS formatted text to the degree character? I'm wanting to use a Field to show the angle of a line, the format must be in DMS and I am required to change/remove the d.

    Plain text/mtext, or a C3D Label?

if the former, there are a couple of ways I can think of. %%d would work and is the simplest. Could also try superscripting a lower case 'o', or using CharacterMap and finding a likely character and placing that.

Why use a field instead of an angular dimension? Sounds like you're creating a problem that doesn't exist.

The angle is shown in an aligned dimension with the distance. Essentially the dimension must show both the distance and angle (azimuth travers). Working with Vanilla, no Civil for this project.

worst case - once things are stabilized, would be to convert Fields to Text, and edit that with %%d. Presuming they are on a layer you can isolate, it should take a few seconds with the FIND command
