    Default Painting Families

I've created a shelf family that has a "Panel_Material" parameter (type), and a "Panel_Finish" parameter (instance). Both of these are material type parameters.

The extrusions in the family have their Material set to "Panel_Material", which is plywood. Then the extrusions are painted on all surfaces with the "Panel_Finish" Parameter. In theory this should allow me to schedule the shelves as material, and have them show as a plywood cut pattern in the section cut, while being able to control the render appearance independently with the "Panel_finish" parameter. Within the family editor environment this all works fine, but as soon as I load it into a project, the sections show the "Panel_Finish" cut pattern, and not the "Panel_Material" cut pattern.

    What's the deal? Family attached.

    Thanks!
