Default Pipe Spec Viewer Tab Not Updating

Anyone know why the 2017 prefix isn't yet available?

I'm using Plant 3D 2017 and have run into a weird little...thing. When cycling through specs in my spec viewer I see that there are specs in the list that actually no longer exist in the spec folder.

Is there a way I can refresh or update this list to properly show what specs are actually available?

First, double check the path to your specs (I'm sure you have). Second, are you running 2017.1? If so, specs are controlled differently now. You have to remove them individually from the Pipe Specs category on the source tab (right click on the spec you don't want). 2017.1 removed the ability to add and remove specs from the source folder and automatically update all projects path'd to that location (changes to the specs still works). You now have to manage each project individually. This is a huge step backwards IMO.

Thank you and yes, this is a huge step backwards.
I really don't like how Plant 3D deals with SPECS & copying them from job to job.
    Does anyone actually do that?
It just seems more logical to me to keep them in one place and have the jobs reference them from that location.
This way if there are any changes you only have to update one set and that will be reflected in all affected models.
Currently the system is VERY backwards IMO.

Prior to the 2017.1 update, specs could live in one spot and all projects would reflect any changes to the spec folder automatically (the best solution for networks). The update is introducing spec driven P&IDs and because of this, the change was made . Your specs can still live in one location and any changes made to each spec within spec editor will show up as desired, but if you are creating or removing a whole spec you need to go to every single project to update. You will also need to add the custom parts specs to each project too (if you are creating custom parts). At least we can edit specs at the same time people are designing now (this was a step forward in 2016). the last couple releases thet seem to break as much as they fix.
