Default Moving one strech grip with other strech action

    Hi,
I am new to dynamic blocks. I have explored all options that I found.Still, the issue is not resolved.

    Here is the problem:

I have dynamic block with elbow.
The elbow has two perpendicular lines and two arcs joining them (refer attached drawing).

Things I want in my dynamic block:
    1. Both lines should be stretched independently with grips while both grips should remain at end points of outer arc.
    2. Inner arc should have constant radius= 300mm

But, when I stretch one grip. Other grip doesn't move (which is unwanted).

Please help. There is more to do in this drawing but I'm stuck at the simple level.

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the land of dynamic blocks!

I added a couple of stretch actions to the linear parameters 1 and 2. One for Distance 1 to stretch Distance 2, one for 2 to stretch 1. Stretch and move actions have a property for setting the angle in which the action occurs in relation to the direction of the parameter that operates the action. In this case the stretch actions are 90 and 270 degrees from the linear parameters.

You could probably simplify this some by removing the original stretch actions and adding the lines to the new actions.

Question Re: Moving one strech grip with other strech action

Here is another problem on similar trend. (Refer attached file DB Elbow2.dwg)

I have this elbow with different angles using Angular Constraint. When I change the angle using constraint grip, the linear grip associated with that side doesn't move with change in constraint.

    Pls help.

Do you really need the second linear stretch? (width2)

I can get a working block with one linear stretch. I removed Width2 and replaced it with an equal length constraint between the two red lines in the block. The angle constrain made some weird functionality. I removed it and replaced it with a rotation parameter and action with the angle restricted to a list of available angles. It functioned as expected, just with one linear parameter for the sizing.
