Default Note has the same Style, Layer, etc, but appears different in dwg

Please see the attached file and the two (almost) identical notes about the Ground Sleeve. The bottom one appears jagged and the top one (which i want to use) is smooth. Why are they different?

They appear different in CAD and in PDF when plotted.

    All help is greatly appreciated.

the Z value of the top is -58.5405

TrueType fonts appear wonky when not at zero. quick fix is to use FLATTEN on the mleader object

Thanks for the reply. The FLATTEN command worked perfectly.

I could not see the Z value of the text and I still cant see it in the properties. Can you please tell me how you determined the text had a different Z value?
