Default Transferring one property to another in the same object?

We just got some new contours to use in our drawings but they have their own property for elevation. I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer each contour line's "Contour" property to the generic Geometry Elevation property? If not, I'll let our other users just reference the Contour property as the elevation.

I could go through each one of the 133k+ polylines and manually change it, but that seems like a waste of time, so I'm looking for a batch process type deal, or a lisp that would take care of it.

This old lisp (attached) by Stephen Grisez should do the trick.
