Default Plotting to PNG, RASTERDPI sysvar?

I need to export some floor plans to PNG files, with text labels on the rooms.
I have done a quick google, but, though the RASTERDPI system variable is mentioned, the help file isn't exactly clear on how I get the size I need to make this visible.

Does anyone have any tips of exporting out something big enough to be readable, that won't involve me dinking around with this all evening?

I thought about exporting to a PDF and snipping from there, which I have done in the past at past jobs, but, I'd rather make it something easily reproducible in AutoCAD.

Okay, I ended up not trying to touch the RASTERDPI sysvar at all.

I just used the PublishToWeb PNG.pc3 and created a custom paper size of 4000x2500, it worked well enough (I'm not printing from a layout, just the modelspace extents of the building, the building is 390'x190', in case anyone wants to compare).

So, this will work well enough, as I have saved it and can reuse the settings.

I wouldn't mind if anyone has good tips for nice raster output handy. (I believe my client is using the images for their intranet portal.)

I seem to recall Ellen Finkelstein had some topics on getting CAD drawings into raster formats.

This one may be of interest: https://www.ellenfinkelstein.com/aca...-image-format/

These other two are probably of less interest

    Thanks for the links.
The 2nd link is closest to what I've done.
