Yes Fedor, I have noticed that it drops more stuff on larger models as I pan and spin. But smaller models (very small for my 2Ghz), that don't come close to pegging the CPU while panning and spinning have a very smooth 'real-time' feel to the spin. While larger models that drop parts while spinning are not so smooth. Mind you, I typically work on small residential models, not highrises. So I guess I'm wondering where the performance bottleneck is and what is a good balance between CPU, RAM, and video card. My models are small, so RAM is not an issue. It seems I can make some performance gains with more CPU horsepower. Aside from excellent OpenGL support, can gains be had from a video card with a higher memory bandwidth? (I realize video RAM is not so important). I'm looking at upgrading my workstation soon and your insight into these matters is highly appreciated. Thanks! BTW, I'm not complaining that Revit is slow, just wondering how I can get the most performance for my $$$.Originally Posted by FK
