Question Grading surface tries to attach to an alignment line when grading done first, why? How to fix?

    Hello all,
Why does placing an alignment line after a grading is completed mess up the grading? The two are not related at all in my drawing and this should not happen. I just wanted a surface profile of the FG and EG which requires an alignment first. See attached image.

Make sure your alignment is NOT in the same site as your grading object.

    Thanks Mike,
I discovered this too. Still makes me wonder why Autodesk set it up this way in the first place.
