Default solprof error in xp pro sp1/ no error in windows 2000

The instruction at "0x0071bbf0" referenced memory at "0x01923fe0". The memory could not be "read". Then AutoCAD application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
    Then appname:acad.exe AppVer:22.1.84.0 ModName: asmkern80a.dll ModVer:8.0.4.7009 Offset: 004a2ca0

This error does not occur on the same hardware platform in windows 2000 sp6. Any ideas other than changing out the OS

    Hi

Please note I've *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD General Forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike
