Having returned to SSM after a long absence, I have run into an issued that I vaguely recall not being an issue before.

When I use the publish function on SSM to populate the publish list, all files (pdf’s in this case) are named and sorted using the SS Drawing Name field (i.e. “G-001 – Cover Sheet”) Client deliverable is single pdfs using the file name (“123456-G-001.dwg”) – not sheet name.

When I run a ‘vanilla’ publish, and track down my files and add them manually, they will output as the file name (and display and sort in the organizer). It works, but defeats one of the advantages of SSM – no tracking down and sorting files.

I seem to think (and a few others I work with) that there was a toggle or an option that would use one preference or the other. Is this hiding somewhere? Help doesn’t seem to Help, and I didn’t see anything here.
