How is this possible?

Have a user who is trying to locate a section call out for his model, the section exists but we can not find the section call out itself. I used the tool of right clicking on the "Crop Region" outline of the section view, and selected the "Find Referring Views" to locate the section call out and get a message saying "Could not find referring object". How is that possible since the section call out is what generates the section view . See screen shot below: any insights into this will be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the "Hide at scale coarser than" Section View Property??
