Tab title key-ins show on tabs when entering commands at the command line

Really weird... Not me, but one of my users. If she has a surface entity selected and goes to key-in a command, little icons with shortcut (I guess) letters show up on the tabs. "ET" for express tools, ""M" for manage, and numbers for new, open save, etc., on the quick access. When they show up, she can't enter the command she wants. Has to esc, and use the toolbar.

I've Googled the hell out of this, and can't find a variable, and I can't replicate on my system.

Sounds like she's hitting the {ALT} key. If not, can you post a screen shot?

I can toggle those On/Off by clicking the Alt key.

Nope. Here's the sequence:
-select surface entity
-<esc>
-hit any key
key-ins show up

Esc or Alt make them go away, but she's one of those who prefer key-ins over buttons and it's messing with her flow. Probably just needs a reinstall.

I can recreate this by holding down the [ALT] key
Really sounds like the [ALT] key is stuck down.

Have you tried a different keyboard?
