Default linetype going fubar for dragged labels

This is an interesting one, and I'm kinda baffled.

Sanitary plan and profile is in one file, and the manhole labels are in the XREF, on on layer C-SSWR-TEXT, linetype continuous, color 2. Label properties for the leadr call for CONTINUOUS, color and lweight BYLAYER

When XRefed into the P&P sheet, the linetype for the manhole leader displays as a HIDDEN line.

properties for XREF|C-SSWR-TEXT are the same thing.

If I explode the label, save and reload the xref, the leader line shows as continuous. but if it's a C3D label it shows as hidden.

    any thoughts?

So PP sheet XREFs Label drawing and Label drawing XREFs the sanitary drawing (as attachment?)?

What happens when you detach the Label drawing from PP sheet and re-XREF it?

    Any Style templates being used?

    XREFOVERRIDE & VISRETAINMODE?

Sheet file Xrefs the plan model, and the profile model, labels are in the profile model, which DRef the pipe network. So two Xrefs

Turns out to be a glitch in the matrix -- someone set CELTYPE to be HIDDEN instead of bylayer, and instead of the label leader repecting the layer setting, or the leader linetype settings in the Style definition, it grabbed CELType and used that.

This thread has prompted me to set those variables (CELTYPE and CECOLOR) to "ByLayer" in my Acaddoc.lsp!!
I've seen that before on occasion where someone set the current line type or color to other then by layer and took a while to figure it out.

    Thanks for the reminder
