how do you delete the scale bar that is associated with the viewport.
i don't have the bar scale, just an icon of a wrench and an a triangle with an exclamation mark on screen.

well after much headache and head scratching i finally found "MAPLAYOUTREFERENCESYSTEMREMOVE". thank the cad Gods for that. don't know why it isn't an option on the layout tools ribbon.

Wow, where did you find it? AutoCAD help installed or online had "0 results for MAPLAYOUTREFERENCESYSTEMREMOVE". Gotta wonder how many undocumented commands there are.

after much headache i decided to click on the reference system button again to see if there was anything there and i noticed on the command line the actual commond. so i started typing it and the autofill showed the removal command.
purely by accident. lol.

edit: looks like it might be a Map3D command.
