Globally swap text styles in C3D label styles.

This might be impossible, other than brute force through every label style, but I've got a request to convert _all_ my C3D labels to ArialNarrow from Arial, for one (fairly major) client of mine. MLeader, Tablestyles and Dimstyles are pretty straight forward, but if I'm setting up a unique DWT for these people, the c3d labels will be tedious to redo.

any thoughts out there?

If your Label Styles are assigned the Arial Text Style in General tab, simply use the STYLE Command to rename Arial as ArialNarrow and modify the assigned Font Name in kind.

If your Label Styles are assigned the Standard Text Style, you can still modify the assigned Font Name using STYLE Command (so Labels appear correct), but Standard cannot be renamed.

[Edit] - If you have SincPac, you can also simply use the CIVILSTYLEPROPERTIES Command, which allows Standard Text Style to be replaced:

Are all C3D label styles set to use "Arial" now?
And you want to convert them all to "ArialNarrow"?

OR, if you want all label styles to use "ArialNarrow" anyway, regardless of the style they are currently set to.

THEN....

Go to the Settings Tab, right-click on the drawing name, choose Edit Label Style Defaults.
Expand the "Label" section.



Under "Text Style", if there are any Child Overrides, click the arrow and a red "X" will show up.
Change the value from Arial to ArialNarrow.
Click Apply.



Go back and expand the "Label" section again.
This time, ArialNarrow will be shown, and there will be no Child Overrides.
You've just set ArialNarrow as the style for every label C3D style in the drawing**



**I think certain table styles are immune to this method and will not change.
