    Default NEW TO PLANT

    Hi
I've been using Prosteel at a previous employer a few years ago. Now I'm using vanilla Autocad and I have just found that we have an Autodesk Plant licence.
Is it possible to make a database of Australian standard shapes to make structural design easier? I imagine it is similar to Prosteel and if so where are the database files located?
    Thanks

It looks like to me that the structure part of Plant3D is limited. If you've been using ProSteel, you will be disappointed with Plant3d Structure. Looks like Structure was added to Plant3D as an after-thought to use as a placeholder for the real model. I would not consider it for serious designing and detailing structure.

You would have to upgrade to Autodesk Advance Steel.
