Default Revit MEP 2017 Panelboard Schedules for more than one panel

    Good afternoon everyone,

I have 5 identical panelboards and I would like to just have one schedule on my sheet that will represent all 5 panels.

I cannot figure out how to change the header where it says: Branch Panel: Panel 3-1. I can change it to say Branch Panels but I cannot change the rest to say Panels 3-2 thru 3-5.

Does anyone know how to do this? I could duplicate the schedule and edit it and put in Panels 3-2 thru 3-5 in place of the parameter <Panel Name> but I was hoping to be able to just click on the corresponding cell and edit the text.

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance and have a great night!

    Celeste

Are these typical floors in a building? First, duplicate your panel schedule template, name it "-multiple", and add your S to Branch Panel. Then just name one panel (on a floor you are not printing) "Panels 3-2 thru 3-5", apply the -multiple template, and show that panel schedule on your sheet. If you need to show/tag all the correctly named panels in plan sheets, you can put this panel on a non-plotting workset, and set the regularly named "Panel 3-3" right on top of it on your normal workset (ignore the warning about such). Then make sure this non-plotting workset is turned off in your floorplan, ceiling, and elevation (if you're tagging them for a one-line) view templates. If you are scheduling the panels in list format, you can filter Panel Name, Does not equal, Panels 3-2 thru 3-5. Then you will not have an extra one in your quantities.

    Mike,

    Thanks for your reply.
I am doing a simple metal building that has 5 bays, so only one floor. Each bay has its own electrical panel and each bay is laid out exactly the same. Small project. I did not have trouble adding the S to Panel it was the 3-1 thru 3-5 that is the issue. I will see if the workset idea works.
