    Default Old Dim command

The old dim command used to give one options like New, Update, Home, etc. My computer was struck by lightning and I have to start from scratch. Someone gave me a command which brought up all the old dim commands (NOT -dimstyle), but I can't remember what it was - can anyone help?

I'm not sure what you are asking for. The command line to start dimensioning is "dim". Then select one of "angular baseline continue ordinate align distribute layer undo". There are more dimension modes that have been added since this command (see the Dimension drop down menu or the Home ribbon or Annotate ribbon). Also, in Tools dropdown, select customize/edit program parameters. This file has all the command aliases listed and their commands. It may jog your memory. Be careful to not edit and save this file unless you are familiar with it and have knowledge of what you are doing. You can view it without problems just do not save it.

@anne-kzn --- what version of AutoCAD?

I know you posted this as 2019, but I'm just confirming.

I think you're looking for the DIMEDIT command. Similar to that is the DIMTEDIT command.
