Default Annotation Lineweights not updating thickness changes

Hello everyone and thank you for your time.
I'm updating our workplace standards in Revit to match CAD. Going through the Additional Settings tab, Lineweights, Annotation 1-16 and updating the thicknesses. What I'm noticing is once updated - changing the number 4 annotation line weight to .0075" from the previous number- doesn't actually update the lineweight itself. There isn't a sync or a save that needs to happen for the color to update immediately, why aren't the weights themselves updating?
    Please see attached PDF.

    Thank you!

Further investigation - specifically updating *detail* lineweights. Anyone know which of the three options to change lineweights actually control detail lines themselves?
