    Default refedit contextual tab

Using Architectural Desktop 2018. When I edit a block in place, the refedit contextual tab that is supposed to show on the ribbon does not appear and I have no way to back save the changes to the block. Any idea how I get the tab to show up? My understanding is that it is supposed to be automatic

I found the REFCLOSE command and can use that to back save changes to the block. I'd still like to get the contextual tab or tool bar to show up automatically. Perhaps something needs to be toggled on or off?

Go to the CUI command, Ribbon section, Contextual Tab States and see if it looks like the images below.

I cannot expand the block editor mode under the contextual tabs states. I assume I'm missing the 2 items.

I cannot expand the block editor mode, so I'm assuming I am missing the 2 items to automatically open and close the tab. Not sure of the process to get them in the proper location.

I can't expand the the block editor mode folder, so I assume I'm missing the two items to control the contextual tab. I'm not sure where to find them or how to get them in the appropriate location.

Its under the Tabs section of the ribbon. Drag the tab to the Contextual Tab State.

I can't drag the Block Editor Contextual Tab, or the Block editor-Close contextual Tab, outside the Tabs node to the Contextual Tabs State node

I think you're trying to drag a panel in the tab. Drag the whole tab.
